• Where can I purchase a new accessory to replace my old one and how much will it cost?

  We only use Authorise Dealers to sell Makita products. Go to our Find a Dealer page to find your your nearest seller.

• I have a fault with my tool. How do I get it repaired?

  In the first instance please contact the company you purchased it from and they will assist you or click on the Dealer Locator section to find your nearest Authorised Service Agent.

• Will my existing tool fit in a Makpac case and which inlay do I need?

  Select Carrying Cases, from the Accessories menu to find which Makpac case and inlay fit your model.

• Where can I purchase a Makita product?

  Use our Dealer Locator page, and type in your postcode or town, your nearest dealers will be displayed.

• Which products can I register for the additional 2 years warranty on the website?

  The warranty period of your Makita tool may be extended to an additional 2 years subject to the following conditions:

  • Makita Tools that are CE marked and (with the exceptions of Batteries, Battery Chargers, Accessories, Petrol Products, Production Tools and Air Tools and Compressors) purchased on or after 1st July 2012.
  • The tool is registered by the end user within 30 days of purchase.

• How can I get my tools repaired?

  You can return the product to where it was purchased, and they should arrange for a repair to be carried out. You can locate your nearest Authorised Service Agent by going to the Dealer Locator page or you can return it to ourselves.

• How do I register the EK6100 for 3 Year Warranty and the 3 Year Service Plan?

  Currently the EK6100 isn't eligible for 3 Year Warranty however you can register it for the 3 Year Service plan here: http://www.makitauk.com/3-year-service-plan-for-ek6100.html
