Cordless Planer XGT® 40V Max

Makita´s new Cordless planer KP001G offers smooth operating for both rough and thin planing. The machine has increased cutting and shiplapping depth. For added performance and smooth finish, KP001G operates with 2-blade cutter head that has double edge carbide blades.

KP001G has rubberized soft grips on the front and rear handles to increase comfort when working. It also offers easy blade setting system for fast blade installation.

Multiple Functions

KP001G is connectable to Makita vacuum cleaners and Dust bag assembly. The planer is equipped with Auto-start Wireless System (AWS) which connects to compatible vacuum cleaners via Bluetooth. It has also Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) that is engineered for improved dust and water resistance when operating in harsh conditions.

The machine has battery protection circuit to protect against overloading, over-discharging and over-heating. KP001G offers three chamfering groove options that are located in the front base of the machine.

Planing work amount

Working volume up to 105 meters with 0.5 mm planing depth (with fully charged battery BL4025). 

 

Cordless Trimmer XGT® 40V Max

KP001G has spring-loaded stand that elevates the base to protect the blades and the workpiece. It can be used with both standard and double-edged mini blades. KP001G has a guide rule that provides accurate and maximum use of the planing width.

The KP001G Planer XGT® has 2-blade cutter head with double edge carbide blades for added performance and smooth finish. Depth of cut may be adjusted by simply turning the knob on the front of the tool so that the pointer points the desired depth of cut. Also, the chip ejection is enabled from both sides.
