Makita’s new product JR001G is a powerful cordless Recipro Saw, that can take on tough jobs now and in the future. Its high capability stems from the new XGT® technology, that also makes the machine light, durable and smart. The saw is ideal for spark-free metal cutting and demolition work.

Cuts pipe and wood effectively and up to 70% faster

JR001G is up to 70% faster compared to equivalent LXT® models. It has a high cutting speed (max. 3,000 SPM) and a stroke length of 32mm, which makes the saw perfect for spark-free metal cutting and demolition work. The variable speed trigger and 2-speed electronic gearbox provides the optimum speeds for cutting a variety of materials – high speed for wood cutting and low speed for metal cutting.

Light and easy to operate

The machine is light, because it employs one 40V Max XGT® battery instead of two LXT® batteries. The saw is also equipped with a quick-release blade attachment for fast blade change.

Smart solutions make working safe

The machine has many safety and efficiency increasing features. For example, the vertical crank mechanism minimizes blade deflection and reduces vibration to the machine. Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) makes it possible to safely use the machine in outdoor environments.
