Battery powered SDS-Max rotary hammer with the power of a cordless machine for drilling and chopping!
The power of the machine comes from two 18V batteries that produce 36V power. Powerful brushless motor enables low power consumption, so the machine works for a long time with one charge.
The rotary hammer also makes it easy to work without dust as the machine is equipped with an AWS function that starts the vacuum cleaner wirelessly via bluetooth connection.
AWS Technology wirelessly controls the vacuum cleaner
The vacuum cleaner and rotary hammer communicates through a bluetooth connection. On the side of the rotary hammer is a place for a chip card and after pairing, the rotary hammer gives a start-up command to the vacuum cleaner wirelessly.

AVT technology minimizes vibration
AVT - Anti Vibration Technology
AVT (Anti Vibration Technolgy) dynamic vibration absorber reduces vibration effectively. During no-load (Soft no load) function reduces vibration of the tool body when idling, accordingly decreases the amount of vibration to operator’s hands during a day’s operation and minimizes deflection of bit tip from aiming point when starting chipping.
AVT- Operating principle
1) Vibration absorbing housing isolates handle and motor.
2) Active dynamic vibration absorber moves in the opposite direction to the drive piston to reduce vibration.
3) Damper spring absorbs impact vibrations from the drill bit.

Dust extraction drill bits are Makita's novelty for SDS-MAX drills!
The dust is drawn from the drill bit through the shaft into the vacuum cleaner. The drill bit body is threadless as the blade does not need to move the drilling dust out of the hole. The drill bit remains cool and lasts longer, but most importantly, it allows for a completely dust-free drilling! There are several different sizes of dust extraction drill bits available between 16 and 35 mm.
