Running for a minimum of a day, depending on the amount and kind of tools covered, our courses examine important details such as health and safety, risk assessment, arm vibration syndrome (the cause of and symptoms) and the sage operation and use of portable, electric power tools.
A city and guilds accredited course covering hazards arising form use, precautions to be observed, correct and safe use. (excluding chainsaws). 1 day course costed at £154 + VAT.
The course is aimed for the candidate to deliver and run a user course on power tools. On successfully completing the course the candidate will be issued with a City & Guilds accredited user certificate and a Makita instructor certificate. 2 day instructor course costed at £385 + VAT

This user course will cover preventative maintenance that is carried out daily or at regular intervals by the operator.
- Preventative maintenance and daily checks.
- Cutting timber under tension and compression.
- Cutting timber into manageable sections or to a given length.
- Two day course UK Rural Skills certificate.
